Townsend, Donna M. (nee) Macauley (March 19, 2023) Dear wife of Colin M. Townsend, III. Devoted mother of Drew C. and Jill Townsend. Adoring Mimi of Ryan, Meredith, Morgan, Will, Ava and Mae. I am so sorry for your loss. I will keep all of you in my prayers. I was very fond of Donna, she was truly a wonderful person.

Treasured memories of our dearest Donna. We came from the UK to the USA in 1977. We moved to Sturbridge Lakes and Donna, Colin and their children Drew and Jill were our next door neighbours who quickly became our friends and our American “family”. We have so many cherished memories of the fun we had together and the support that Donna gave us dealing with the changes in our lives as we became the proud parents of a son and then a daughter. With our parents and family so far away we would never have coped without Donna’s “been there got the T-shirt” wisdom and support . When we returned to the UK we remained firm friends and we are so happy that we had the privilege of having been friends with Donna, a very special wonderful person. Rest in Peace dearest friend

Colin, Drew and Jill, you three “plus” all your beautiful children were so fortunate to have had your wonderful Donna/Mom/Mimi in your lives to laugh, run business, play golf, babysit along with making life’s little moments “extra special”. Donnie enjoyed Donna being the eldest cousin! Donna would always joke about it, claiming to be “the leader of the pack”. Donna’s smile was warming, welcoming, loving.
