Ed, when I first met you at the Barber Institute you had a smile that lit up the room and eyes to match. I asked if you liked music and you nodded yes and I turned it up and we danced until it was time for you to go. I will never forget that and I will never forget you.

It was pleasure knowing you and being in your presence and we will see each other again.. I’ll save a dance for you.

    Miss you.

i just learned with great sadness of EDDIE’S passing.i called him the mayor of mayfair and had a baseball cap made for him many years ago that had that embroidered on it.he visited me every day at my school crossing. such determination as he walked from home to my crossing at Bleigh ave and then eventually rolled in his chair.he was truly the light of my day.one day someone was giving me a hard time and Eddie rolled in front of me .my protector.he is an angel in heaven now.i was honored to know him
