Yannone, Frank J., Jr. (Nov. 28, 2021) A retired Philadelphia Police Officer. Beloved husband of Angela Yannone (nee) Coletti. Devoted stepfather of Christine (Marc) Alvini. Loving brother of Michael C. (Irma) Yannone and Grace (Frank) Damiani, Pop of Giuliana and Mia, also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to his Mass of Christian Burial, Friday, December 3, 2021, 10:30 AM, St. Matthew R.C. Church, 3000 Cottman Avenue (at Battersby St.) Phila., PA 19149, viewing in Church, Friday 9:15-10:15. Interment Private. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Frank’s name may be made to the Police Survivors Benefit Fund, Lodge #5, 11630 Caroline Road, Philadelphia, PA 19154. Per CDC guidelines masks must be worn and social distancing observed.

Today I lost a friend I’ve had for 57 years my heart is aching he was such a good friend and I have such great memories of our times together I will always cherish them rest in peace my friend.
Rest easy my friend. We met at front & westmoreland; me a brand new detective and you,, a street savvy uniform. You taught me a lot Frank and I respect & thank you always. Until we meet again at the “new” front & westmoreland.
My ❤ is broken hearing this sad news, I will miss you dearly my long time friend, I will miss our long conversation about back in the day sorry you never got to ride my horse you always talked about, rest in peace Frankie I will always be looking for that phone call, I’ll miss you buddy

I met Frankie at La Fitness and immediately became friends he was one of the nicest guys in the gym. We always had stories to swap Frankie could tell a story I will miss our conversations and time we spent chatting. I am at a loss and will be forever grateful for the day we met.
