Linda Morris
Linda A. Morris (nee Larsen) peacefully passed away in the presence of her family on June 30, 2017 at the age of 68. She was beloved daughter of the late Ralph and Elsie (nee Mortenson) Larsen. She was the devoted mother to Richard S., Jill E., and Ronald C. Morris. Loving sister of Janet A. (Bob) Oberg, loving mother-in-law to Maria (nee Duprey) Morris and loving aunt to Susan (nee Oberg) Mosesian. She will also be missed by her 7 grandchildren – Francis W., Kate E., Antonio C., Matthew S., Noah A., Emma J. and Ella M. Linda graduated from Lincoln High School in June 1966 and was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church (subsequently Saints United) for the majority of her life, as a congregant, a church choir member and a Sunday School teacher. She gracefully battled a rare neurological condition known as PLS for over 25 years. While this condition took away her ability to walk, and eventually her life, she faced this challenge with dignity, grace and a smile while being thankful for God’s loving presence. Relatives and friends are invited to Linda’s Memorial Service on Friday July 7th, 11am at Saints United Lutheran Church, 3200 Ryan Ave, Philadelphia PA. Friends may pay respects before the service beginning at 9:30am. Interment is at White Chapel Cemetery in Feasterville, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Linda’s name may be made to the Spastic Paraplegia Foundation, a nonprofit corporation supporting research and support for patients suffering from PLS, at 1605 Goularte Place, Fremont, CA 94539 (Tax ID # 04-3594491) or online at www.sp-foundation.org.
