Ronald M. Dillon
Dillon, Ronald M. (November 29, 2019). Loving father to Donnamarie (Andrew Severance) Dillon, and Tracy L. (Vincent Catanzaro) Comans. He will also be missed by his 4 grandchildren Charles, Anthony, Peter, and Nolan, and 4 granddogs.
Ron’s girls and grandsons were everything to him. He was immensely proud of his daughters and was regularly seen wearing his ‘#1 Pop’ shirt, and showing recent photos of his grandsons to friends.
He loved the Jersey shore and vacationing in Sea Isle City: days filled with jumping waves, iced-cold Coors Light and enjoying the beach with his grandsons made him the happiest. For Ron, watching the Phillies on a summer day came in a close second.
Ron was extremely generous with his time, offering his financial services to dozens of friends and family members during tax season, and year round. In addition, he was humbly proud of his years in the Navy, and often spoke of the friends he made and the good times he had while in boot camp.
Ron fought his hardest and displayed extraordinary courage after being diagnosed with lymphoma in June. His primary focus was returning to health for his grandsons. He spent his final days surrounded by love, and with the admiration of his family.”
Relatives and friends are invited to Ronald’s Viewing Wednesday 12/4, 7-9pm at Mannal Funeral Home, 6925 Frankford Ave. (at Tyson), and Thursday 12/5 9:30-10:30am at St. Timothy RC Church, Levick St. His Funeral Mass will follow 12/5 10:30am. Interment Our Lady of Grace Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions in Ronald’s name may be made to Abington Jefferson Home Hospice, 225 Newtown Road, Warminster, PA 18974.
Ron was an extraordinary man who loved his family the most but also showered everyone with kindness. His laugh was fun and infectious. He was always available and willing to help with any tax questions or prep I’ve ever needed. I will surely miss one of the G.O.A.T.s.
My condolences to all of the family!
