Angela M. Lopez

It is with a heavy heart and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Angela Marcano Lopez (known as Gelin), a loving mother, caring grandmother, and faithful wife. Gelin, aged 75, was born on February 20, 1950 in Naguabo, Puerto Rico. Raised in a family of eight children by her father, Salome Marcano (deceased), and mother, Luisa Marcano Lopez.  Gelin was a talented lady who did everything with grace and dedication.

 

She was the beloved wife of Arnaldo Garcia Lopez and the devoted mother to Eddie and Lizeth Garcia.  Gelin was also a proud grandmother of four and a great-grandmother of eight. Her passion was cooking, and her life revolved around her family. She was a woman of God who demonstrated unconditional love, kindness and wisdom to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Gelin will be truly missed.

 

We cordially invite you to join us in honoring and celebrating Gelin’s life on April 25, 2025. The viewing is scheduled from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.  The service from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm will include a Greeting Introduction, Pastor’s message, Hymn, Psalm reading, Eulogy, Prayer, and a final farewell.

 

The interment will take place at Greenmount Cemetery, 4301 N. Front Street, Philadelphia, PA 19140
