George J. Mallon
Mallon, George J. (May 9, 2026). Beloved husband of the late Kathleen (nee Curran). Devoted father to Maureen Mallon, James (Patricia) Mallon, and Michael (Rosemary) Mallon. Loving grandfather of Kelly (Chris) Neeld, Katie (Chris Heimsoth) Mallon, Amy (Shane) Wiggins , Brendan (Kamila) Mallon and Kevin Mallon. Adoring great grandfather of Christopher and Cooper Neeld. George lived life to its fullest every day. He delighted in spending his time with family and friends and was loved by everyone who knew him. If you were lucky enough to call him a friend, you were lucky enough! George could often be found attending daily Mass at St Dominic’s, spreading laughter and friendship at multiple senior groups in the area and of course he could never pass up a good game of Bingo. George was kind and giving. He would always help others in need, and he passed this generosity onto his children by teaching them to always do the same. He will be missed by many but especially by those who loved him most. Relatives and friends are invited to George’s visitation, Thursday 5/21, 9:30 to 11am at St Dominic Catholic Church, 8504 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19136. His Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11am. Interment St Dominic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions in George’s name may be made to St. Francis Inn at St. Francis Ministries, PO Box 3746, Philadelphia, PA 19125-0746 or online at stfrancisinn.org
