Paul was a great guy and a great influence on my teenage life. I look fondly on the days that i worked at His and Pat’s Hardware Store. (Penn Treaty Paint and Hardware). Those 2/3 years seem like a decade now. Who lets 15/16 year old with a permit drive a 15 passenger van on 95? Paul let me. Who gave me the briefcase and the leash to a German Shepherd to walk with him to the truck after the work day was over? Paul did. He taught me how to fix window screens and cut keys. i know what paint to buy today because of those days and watching him burn the window putty out with a torch to replace the glass in an old window is burned in my memory. I think mostly it felt good to be trusted.
Paul served 4 years in the U.S. Marine Corps and retired as a Sergeant He also led a distinguished career working his way up from a patrolman to a Staff Inspector in the Philadelphia Police Department. He was beloved and respected by the men he served with and supervised. I was proud to be his brother-in-law.

Dear Tricia,
Paul aka Pop was a great guy. I enjoyed my time with him.He always had great stories. Of his his police days. His childhood days and names of everyone he grew up with in Scranton. He was caring and appreciated everything We enjoyed our 9 o’clock ice cream treats. I will miss him
Pop, you were an incredible person. You loved your grandchildren as your own and were there for everything. What a class act!! I’m so blessed to have had the ability to know you through my friendship with Tricia. I’ll really miss you and your jokes! I
Good Person and alway a gentleman. I met in my early years on PPD and then would always stop to talk at MAB Hardware on Girard Ave. Then again at School District. Will be missed and GOD bless his family.
Pop
From day one you welcomed me to the family. You always told Kim give Loren my regards. You took care of all of us from the grandkids on up. I learned so much from you especially just being a better person like you were. Pop, you were kind, and yet still one of the strongest men I’ve ever known. Now it’s time for you to enjoy a well deserved rest. Say hello to Pat, Kim, and Paul. Until we meet again Pop I send you “my regards “. Love you Pop!

I very much enjoyed working with Paul at both the Philadelphia Police Department and the School District of Philadelphia. Always kind, caring, and compassionate, Paul demonstrated servant leadership in every assignment, and underscored the safety and well-being of children, community and colleagues as the highest priorities throughout his law enforcement career. May he rest in paradise in the loving arms of our Savior.
I met Paul working at the school district, he was an all around great guy. In later years he became my supervisor and the best one ever. He listened and understood and didn’t micro manage my department over my decisions like all the others did, he knew how to do things right. Paul and I use to sit and talk alot at the lunch table in the office, he spoke often about his grandchildren that he cared for & loved so much. My prayers for your family.
Pop, we miss you so much. I’m so thankful that you lived with us the last almost 2 years. I’ve loved watching you love Alexander. He was so lucky to have you here with him. We all love you so so much. Life just isn’t the same without you.
Hugs & kisses,
Tricia, Chris, Alexander, and Chris JR.
