  • It was very sad to hear the news about Richie,a great guy whom I considered ” My Friend”. The words My Friend were used every time at the end of our 30 to 40 minute conversations. These conversations were about people, sports and life in general. They had perspective, humor and wit that Richie profoundly gave. His points of view always lifted my spirits and made me think. I will miss My Friend deeply but will remember him always.

  • My heartfelt condolences on the passing of Richie
I wish I could have been there to say goodbye to my friend.
I meet Richie in 1977 at the propeller shop at the shipyard.
I have fond memories of Richie Larraine and I fishing on the upper Delaware and gambling in AC.
I’d like to think they are together now.
He was a good friend to me.
    RIP Richie

I just heard of Rich’s passing…I became friends with Rich when I would walk my dogs many years ago…always enjoyed our conversations…after the dogs were gone, we lost touch but I would always look to see if he was out and about when I was in my vehicle…I’m sorry I didn’t reach out or stop at his house to see how he was doing…another reminder to not put off until tomorrow what you can do today…my sincere condolences to his family and friends…RIP Rich
